My name is Gigi Fisher, and I am a Marketing student at the University of Georgia with an emphasis in Digital Marketing. I currently work for the Office of the Vice President of Instruction at UGA as a communications intern. I will be graduating in December 2025, and I look forward to seeing where life takes me. My Story

I created this site in 2020 during the pandemic as a way for my friends and me to connect virtually. I had a lot of time on my hands and a LOT of thoughts to share. Luckily, so did everyone else! Since we were practically kids (15-16 years old) and our society seemed to be at a very notable point in time, I thought anthropology + Gigi = anthropologigi!
While I no longer actively create blog posts, I still love to cook, bake, read, and do everything my 16-year-old self loved to do. These past five years have been insanely transformative as I graduated high school and started my time at the University of Georgia; I have traveled to six new countries, developed a 600+ day streak on Duolingo, interned for a national real estate firm for two consecutive summers, entered my 20s, AND learned to love football!
However, to reflect my change in life stages, I have turned this site into my portfolio. I have worked hard on developing my copywriting, video editing, content creating, and other digital media skills and am proud to share them here. While some are not my best work, I hope you are able to see my growth and dedication. Thank you.
