so, to be completely honest, this is not my recipe or idea (i got it from a family friend) but i did give measurements for it and make it all the time!
to start, get a large pot and put 2 tablespoons of a high burning oil that won't give a strong taste like sunflower or avocado (i personally like to use sunflower), 1/4 cup of popping kernels, and a sprig of rosemary. shake it up a bunch so that the kernels are properly coated and turn on the heat to medium. put the lid on partially and after a couple of minutes let it close. continue to shake it every like 30 seconds. once the popping begins, shake about every 5 seconds. and once there are more than 3 seconds between each pop take it off the heat and put it into a new bowl.
while the popcorn is cooking make the sauce! add the leaves from one sprig of rosemary (no stem), 2 tablespoons of butter, 1/2 teaspoon of worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of hot sauce (i like franks or louisiana pure crystal), and finally, some freshly cracked salt and pepper (don't add salt if you're already using salted butter). put on medium to medium-low heat and take off the heat once the butter has melted. let it cool down a bit before pouring over the popcorn in a new bowl. TIP: to make the butter melt quicker i like to chop it up into smaller bits.
once the popcorn and sauce are together i like to add about 1/4 cup of freshly grated parmesan and mix. add more parmesan, salt, and pepper to taste!
